Daniel Kaima – Chief Executive Officer
Daniel (LL.B (Hons) LL.M) is a lawyer by profession and brings with him a range of commercial, corporate and investment management experience, spanning over 10 years in the legal and corporate sector. He has held executive roles and currently holds directorships in businesses involved in managing trusts, funds management, shipping, petroleum distribution, real estate development and business development. Daniel is currently a member of the Australian and PNG Institute of Directors, the Governance Institute of Australia, and is also a member of the Papua New Guinea Law Society. He holds a Master of Laws Degree (Commercial Law) from Monash University, Melbourne.
Patrick Doekes – Chief Financial Officer
Patrick has been a qualified accountant for over 20 years and is a current member of CA(ANZ), ACMA (UK) and CPA (PNG). He has had extensive experience in senior leadership roles covering financial, commercial and supply chain in a number of industries including manufacturing, warehousing, distribution and pharmaceutical. In recent years, he worked for Integria Healthcare Pty Ltd and Hyne & Son Pty Ltd where he held the CFO role and he has previous experience working as the Group Commercial Manager for Dunlop in South Africa where he travelled to the various group companies located in Zambia and Zimbabwe. Patrick brings a diverse set of commercial, operational as well as financial acumen to the Anitua Group.
Terry Bourke – Chief Commercial Officer
Terry Bourke recently joined the Anitua Limited Group in the newly created position of Chief Commercial Officer. Terry is a versatile senior executive with experience in Australia (Western Australia, New South Wales and Queensland), Papua New Guinea, Canada and New Zealand in mining, manufacturing and oil & gas, after starting professional life at a top tier law firm.
Terry was a foundation Executive Director of MACH Energy, part of a small team which negotiated the acquisition from Rio Tinto in 2015/16 of the Mount Pleasant greenfield thermal coal project and then built the company’s workforce from zero. The team built a coal mine, processing plant, railway, pipeline, roads, dams and other infrastructure near Muswellbrook in the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia, for the 8 million tonnes production per annum project. Terry’s role as Executive Director and Chief Commercial Officer included responsibility for marketing and sales to Japanese, Chinese and Australian customers.
Terry’s other roles over the years have included Director, Chief Executive Officer, General Counsel and Company Secretary of ASX listed mining and manufacturing companies. He has also run his own advisory business. Terry has Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Finance and Systems) degrees from the University of New South Wales. He is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (with a current unrestricted practicing certificate issued by the Queensland Law Society). To add to the mix he has a license to drive multiple combination road trains in Australia!
